With the piercing summer heat, restaurants are coming up with numerous gimmicks or promotions to invite customers to try their products and services this summer. Diners sell ice cream and halo-halo on a discounted price to entice more clients.
Speaking of summer deal, I think recording studio equipment available at Musicians Friend is also on sale. Check them out.
I got a warm shawarma from my husband the other night. He was so sweet to buy me my favorite! It’s been weeks since I had one. It’s the tender and juicy beef and the spicy ingredients that made me fall for this flavorful snack.
Thinking and writing about it now makes me crave for more. I wish I will have one again tonight or, better yet, learn how to prepare shawarma at home. Have you tried preparing shawarma at home?
Here’s another banana-based snack the whole family would surely love. I have yet to try this recipe.
3 1/2 cups mashed ripe banana with peelings. You can use Saba or Lacatan for this recipe.
1 1/2 cups second-class brown sugar
8 tablespoon butter or margarine
3 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Ground peanuts (optional)
- Mix and mash banana fruit and peelings.
- Add sugar. Place mixture in a pan.
- Cook until thick enough to cut.
- Stir continuously to prevent scorching.
- Add margarine. Add all-purpose flour.
- Transfer to a board and flatten with a rolling pin.
- Sprinkle with peanuts. Cut into desired size.
