Kitchen improvement

I want to have an improved kitchen area. If possible, I want a kitchen make-over. What I have now is plain and bare-looking kitchen that also shares part of the laundry area. With a limited budget, we can only afford a can of paint for wall painting. It’s the least we can do to make our kitchen presentable. Hubby said he can apply a fresh coat of peach paint. Do you think a shade of peach is a nice color for the kitchen? We can decide on other details like basement flooring options later on after we have completed the wall painting. But like our other plan for home repair, the implementation of our kitchen project depends on the availability of fund.
